Located amongst various restaurants in the famous Walter Monginsidi road in south Jakarta, Mandala Chinese restaurants is one of the oldest establishments there due to the fact that they have loyal customers from all walks of live seeking good quality, affordable and dare we say �fast� Chinese food. On the walls of the restaurant there are various articles published about Mandala from diverse critics. Obviously the review is excellent. The layout of the restaurant is very unpretentious with customers usually having to share a table due to their maximum 50 pax setting. But with a food this good, it�s worth the share!

One of their famous dishes is the Black Pepper Meat which is a slice of meat that is so tender its tantalizing, on the side it is served with fried potatoes. Mandala�s Puyunghai consists of 2 choices: chicken puyunghai and crab puyunghai. The taste of Puyunghai is savory with a generous tomato sauce poured over. In almost every Chinese restaurant they provide menu called birthday noodles. This noodles is especially ordered for the customers who is celebrating birthday with the hope for having longer age. This fried noodle is scattered with egg quail. We also recommend the Seafood Kailan with Tausi sauce which is equally delicious.
