One of the best things about dining in Jakarta is being able to sample the fabulous restaurants of the up-market hotels, and when it comes to choosing where to have Sunday Brunch you will be spoilt for choice. Here, Sunday Brunch allows you to enjoy a buffet selection of international and local dishes and of course bottomless wine and sparkling wine that is available with your brunch menu set.

At Orient8, you can expect an extremely high quality of food and services in a beautifully decorated and luxurious ambience. The key difference that makes Orient8, especially their Sunday brunch buffet, different from anywhere else is that it does not feel like your regular Sunday brunch experience of rushed services and 'OK' selection of food. Expect to experience the luxury of Pan Asian and French menu here in a setting that makes you feel like you are in palace of Versailles in France with several cool Chinese pop art pieces thrown in for good measure.

As soon as you are seated in their grand and lavish chair, the hors d'oeuvres of thin crust pizza and creamy risotto with a slight drizzle of soy sauce (that adds a great kick by the way) are served and this is just the beginning of the extravagant things to come in your Orient8 dining experience.

Since Orient8 is a 'West meets East kind of restaurant, you will get a choice selection of the best Eastern and Western cuisine on offer. For Asian food enthusiasts, you get the choice of the freshest sashimi in town and also their all you can eat Pho (Vietnamese noodle). The homemade Pho with the fragrant beef broth, cartilage and crunchy sprouts is surely a soothing and delicious soup. For those favouring the Western cuisine, Orient8 does not stray far from tradition as they have a dedicated roast section with roast rack, beef, lamb leg and the ultimate treat which is the roast turkey. The roasts are carved right in front of you and you get to pick your favourite parts which can be the breasts or the succulent thighs.

Over all, they have several impeccable selection of starters and mains. Mostly dishes that you reckon would be too much of a fuss (for the chef) to be served at a buffet brunch; such as Moroccan Lamb Tagine, Paella, Pate and freshly made panini. Make sure that you do not miss the 'Le Fromage Man' that strolls around the restaurant serving exquisite cheese platters and dried fruits to your table. The dessert selection is quite impressive as well, especially the chocolate fondue.

For having Brunch in style, you cannot miss the dining pleasure of Orient8 as well as what the other restaurants within the Mulia Hotel have to offer.
